Web Weavers Project Process:

  1. Initial meeting: discussion on the design including layout and color.  Web Weavers will present our understanding of the latest trends and technologies, as well as usability. Client will present visions of the website, what they wish to accomplish, and provide the scope of content of the website. Existing graphics, if any, and color preferences will also be discussed at this meeting.
  2. Web Weavers will follow up with an outline based on the initial meeting.
  3. Client will revise the outline
  4. Web Weavers will present the itemized cost estimate to client
  5. After the contract is signed, Web Weavers will present an invoice for a 50% down payment.  NOTE: we have worked with certain government agencies that don’t allow pre-payment for product that doesn’t exist.  In cases like this, we will waive the down payment. 
  6. Web Weavers will setup a development site for controlled viewing, and, if there is a live site, it can stay visible. At this time, Web Weavers will also provide a preliminary timeline based on stages of development. 
  7. Web Weavers will present a preview of design
  8. Client provides feedback and Web Weavers revises design 2 rounds normally.
  9. After client approves graphic design, Web Weavers will populate outline without static content, or copy over the current content if requested by client.  The “skeleton” structure gives the client an opportunity to update or enter new content information. 
  10. Client finalize content outline (in terms of link nesting and structure)
  11. Web Weavers develop and test dynamic, and interactive features, such as user registration, calendar integration, etc.
  12. Soft launch
  13. Official launch
  14. Final payment
